Kelli Clifton First Nations Artist, Bilingual Production Assistant

Kelli Clifton was born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC. Her mother is of European ancestry and her father is Gitga’ata from the community of Hartley Bay. A graduate from the French Immersion program, she joins our team as a production assistant who is able to conduct interviews in French if need be, transcribe French interviews and translate English into French.
Kelli has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria. Most recently, Kelli attended the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art where she earned her First Nations Fine Arts diploma. Kelli has received much acclaim for her work, having been featured twice in the Vancouver International Airport. Since returning to her home community, Kelli has worked in the school district as a role model, sharing her passion for art and culture with students of all ages.
Kelli’s artwork is currently being featured in a campaign for the First Nations Health Authority.
