Katherine Dodds AKA "Kat" is the founder of Good Company Communications and HelloCoolWorld.com. Trained in renegade advertising & branding through her work with Adbusters in the '90s, Kat's early induction into the possibilities of the web-world was inspired by the term hypertext, which she immediately found comforting. Kevin McMahon's feature documentary, Waterlife, played to a full house at the Hot Docs documentary film festival last night. Afterwards, we headed to the Bata Shoe Museum to celebrate where there were more than a few familiar faces...

Colette joined Hello Cool World team back in 2003 and was a key organizer for The Corporation and The Take's grassroots outreach efforts across North America. After being inspired by the organizing and awareness building potential of the internet and social issue films, she returned to school to study Communications and sharpen her skills. Once graduating, Colette returned to Hello Cool World once again as a grassroots campaign consultant. She is now the Director of Distribution for Hello Cool World's new fair trade distribution arm.

I'm happy to report news from Mark Leiren-Young's blog about the Green Chain being available free online in celebration of Earth Day.
Big news for Green Chain fans around the world (outside of Canada). The Green Chain is now available online NOW at a website near you to celebrate Earth Day! The Green Chain is a film about the conflicts between people on both sides of the battle who love trees — and are willing to risk anything to protect their personal visions of the forest. (will be available on Dailymotion, Hulu and YouTube)" (Note: Canadian's the only one of these that will work is YouTube).
